The lifeline of our broadcasting service is our Volunteer Broadcasters. Radio 2TripleO has more than 300 volunteer broadcasters producing and broadcasting over 54 community languages, including the top 30 languages spoken in New South Wales.

As the service depends on its volunteers, the content and quality of the program depend on the knowledge, skills and experience of its broadcasters. Radio 2TripleO is committed to the training of its volunteer broadcasters at all level of qualification. Training at 2TripleO is an ongoing process throughout the service of our broadcasters at the station. It also encouraged those who are interested to pursue a career in broadcasting to see training provided by Radio 2TripleO as the initial phase of a career path.

Radio 2TripleO in return for the dedication and passion of its volunteer broadcasters provide them with the best training regime available to the community broadcasting sector. Thus it engaged the service of the main training organization in media in New South Wales: Community Media Training Organisation (CMTO), TAFE and Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) to conduct the training of its volunteer broadcasters.

The courses available and the training schedule of each organization can be retrieved through the links provided. Broadcasting Group Conveners should monitor the training needs of its broadcasting team and provide the management with the list of trainees and the course required.
