About the Darpan Hindi Radio Group: Sunday, 9AM-11AM
Darpan Hindi Radio Group is a Hindi Language Broadcasting Group of Multi-Cultural Community Radio Association Ltd (MCRA).
The program is run and managed by the members of the Darpan Hindi Radio Broadcasting Group. All members work on a voluntary basis without receiving any financial benefit. Any funds raised through sponsorship are used to improve the quality and effectiveness of broadcast and for charity purposes such as helping poor and needy children.
The main aims and objectives of Darpan Hindi Radio Program are
- Promote learning and use of Hindi.
- Promote Indian Culture & Arts
- Counter the biased reporting about India by the Western media
- Keep the community Informed via news, current affairs, talk back and interviews
- Provide healthy entertainment
- Help recognise the talented members of the community especially the younger generation.
- Help raise funds for needy people
- Any surplus money left in the group’s bank Account may be donated for charity
