State governments across Australia have pledged funding support for drought and other climate disasters in regional and rural areas. The South Australian government has pledged a further $55 million in funding support for drought affected farmers.

Grain farmers in Southern Australia are particularly impacted by drought as they rely on one hundred percent of their produce being rain-fed. While the climate disasters are becoming more common in Australia, the future impact these weather changes have is uncertain.
